📋 Description

• Execute medical billing tasks with professionalism, engaging with insurance providers, clinics, patients, and colleagues.

• Keep abreast of accurate and compliant billing practices for various payers.

• Involve yourself in daily revenue cycle management operations and ensure the precise and timely fulfillment of team responsibilities.

• Stay informed about current revenue cycle management procedures, National SOPs, and related policies.

• Leverage job aids, online resources, software, and available tools.

• Assist leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.

• Achieve departmental productivity targets while upholding quality benchmarks.

• Recognize and report on system access issues, payer behavior, workflow discrepancies, and other opportunities for improvement in revenue cycle management to the Team Lead or Supervisor.

• Perform additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.

• At least two years of experience in medical facility or medical office billing is essential.

• Capable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

• Familiarity with automated billing systems is preferred.

• Strong understanding of comprehensive revenue cycle processes involving insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience interacting with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic levels, sexual orientations, gender identities, and various cultural aspects.

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk as needed.

• Capability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Required visual acuity includes close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, along with the ability to adjust focus.
