This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +5 more countries.
• Conduct insurance verifications to confirm patient benefits and coverage.
• Manage insurance pre-authorizations.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor medical claims.
• Track claim status and address billing issues, including rejected or denied claims.
• Oversee accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review accounts for accuracy and pinpoint discrepancies.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding unpaid or pending claims.
• Maintain precise billing documentation and patient account information.
• Utilize ChiroTouch to manage billing-related data and workflows.
• Provide light administrative support pertaining to billing and patient accounts.
• Engage professionally with the U.S.-based healthcare team.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical medical billing experience.
• Prior experience in a chiropractic practice is preferred.
• Proficient hands-on experience with ChiroTouch EMR is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of medical billing and claims processing.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and pre-authorizations.
• Experience in managing accounts receivable (A/R).
• Strong understanding of insurance claims follow-up and resolution processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Comfort working with a U.S.-based healthcare team.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Experience with denied, rejected, or unpaid claims is advantageous.
• Familiarity with insurance follow-up and payment posting is preferred.
• Knowledge of chiropractic billing workflows and terminology is a plus.
• Experience with Intermedia phone systems is preferred.
• Additional experience in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Full-time contractor position.
• 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
• Compensation is negotiable, based on skills and experience.
