Medicaid Eligibility & Enrollment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee or assist with initiatives related to eligibility, enrollment, renewal, and redetermination.

• Evaluate workflows to pinpoint areas for enhancing accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders from various agencies.

• Track workloads, backlogs, service levels, and overall operational performance.

• Aid in the execution of policy and procedural modifications.

• Create training materials, operational procedures, and communications for beneficiaries.

• Facilitate improvements, testing, and the implementation of the eligibility system.

• Enhance collaboration between eligibility determination and health plan enrollment processes.

• Generate operational reports and actionable recommendations.

• Responsibilities may encompass agency processes, beneficiary communications, staff training, systems implementation, or performance enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with U.S. Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, or similar program operations.

• Proven experience in managing teams, projects, workflows, or service delivery.

• Knowledge of eligibility and enrollment processes and their impact on beneficiaries.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to utilize operational data to identify challenges and drive improvements.

• Relevant supervisory or project leadership experience is valued, even in the absence of a Manager title.

• Preferred: Experience with state or county eligibility operations.

• Preferred: Involvement in Medicaid renewals, redeterminations, or integrated benefits programs.

• Preferred: Knowledge of MAGI or non-MAGI eligibility processes.

• Preferred: Background in quality assurance, staff training, or beneficiary assistance.

• Preferred: Experience with eligibility systems implementation or business process enhancement.
