Med Pay Claims Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and verify the facts of loss for a range of automobile accidents, from basic to complex.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the designated limits of authority.

• Provide support for PIP claims across various states.

• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation representatives to secure optimal outcomes.

• Identify and address customer needs utilizing effective customer service skills.

• Evaluate potential fraud or subrogation issues and manage them appropriately.

• Investigate all dimensions of auto claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, exercising discretion and independence within an elevated level of authority.

• Leverage knowledge of company and industry insurance policies along with organizational relationships.

• Meticulous and detail-oriented professional.

• Relevant experience and qualifications suitable for the applicable level (from Analyst II to Adjuster Sr. Cons. I).

• Intermediate comprehension of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

• Capability to investigate automobile claims, covering aspects such as coverage, damages, and subrogation.

• Familiarity with vehicle body components and understanding of potential property damage.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• Proficiency in case management, claims administration, claims resolution, and claims review.

• Strong customer service abilities and empathy towards customers.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required for candidates.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working remotely from home.
