Claims Adjuster – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, and resolve insurance claims

• Determine policy coverage for reported losses and suitable compensation amounts

• Collaborate with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to review pets’ medical histories

• Investigate and manage assigned insurance claims

• Verify coverage and compensation amounts in accordance with insurance policies

• Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), process payments, and finalize claims

• Request medical records from providers as necessary

• Communicate with clients and providers during treatment when needed

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• One year of relevant experience in a veterinary clinic

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (one year of relevant experience is equal to one year of college)

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

• Must possess and maintain an Adjusters license or obtain it within 90 days of hire

• Only candidates residing in the United States will be considered for this position

• Availability for full-time work; days and hours will be dictated by business needs
