This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +40 more states.
β’ Analyze and handle intricate bodily injury claims related to auto and commercial transportation.
β’ Review coverage details and conduct thorough investigations.
β’ Assess liability and evaluate the extent of damages.
β’ Process complex claims in both auto commercial and personal lines, including bodily injury cases.
β’ Ensure proper documentation and accurate coding of claim files.
β’ Oversee the litigation process for claims involved in litigation.
β’ Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters to assist in claim investigations.
β’ Report significant claims to excess carriers.
β’ Create and uphold action plans to comply with state-required contact deadlines and facilitate prompt resolution.
β’ Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities.
β’ Secure and manage salvage disposal.
β’ Communicate claim actions and processing updates with insured parties, clients, and agents or brokers.
β’ Support the organization's quality initiatives.
β’ Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
β’ A minimum of five (5) years of experience in claims management or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
β’ Extensive knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverages, principles, and relevant laws.
β’ A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
β’ Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively.
β’ Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
β’ Obtain and maintain state adjusting licenses as required for the role.
