This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Review and assess vehicle service contract claims to determine eligibility for coverage.
• Verify contract details, service history, and failure information to accurately evaluate each claim.
• Collaborate with repair shops to assess repair requirements and authorize covered services.
• Utilize contract terms and conditions when approving or denying repairs.
• Calculate repair expenses and negotiate reasonable pricing for parts and labor as needed.
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation of claim decisions within company systems.
• Oversee claim queues to ensure timely handling and communication regarding claims.
• Analyze vehicle repair claims, establish coverage, and facilitate fair, accurate, and prompt claim resolutions.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience in automotive repair, service advising, claims, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and repair procedures.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions effectively.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in navigating multiple systems.
• ASE certification or manufacturer certification is preferred.
• Experience in automotive claims or warranty processing is preferred.
• Experience in negotiating repair costs or collaborating with repair facilities is preferred.
