Claims Adjuster, Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assess, review, and resolve claims related to wellness, illness, and accidents.

• Accurately calculate coverage amounts to ensure efficiency while reducing errors and processing time.

• Follow up with pet owners and veterinary clinics to obtain necessary information.

• Address inquiries from pet owners via phone, email, or web regarding claims.

• Achieve processing efficiency targets established by the Claims Leadership Team.

• Contribute ideas for enhancing protocols, customer satisfaction, and service quality.

• Take ownership of tasks within the claims department and ensure completion of assigned work.

• Request assistance when uncertain about procedures or protocols.

• Provide answers, insights, and support for claims-related tasks across other departments as required.

• Communicate effectively with pet owners and veterinary clinics on claims-related queries.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• At least 3 years of experience in the veterinary sector as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician.

• Preferred qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).

• Availability to work occasional late adjuster shifts from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST based on business requirements.
