MD Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate and validate facts related to basic to moderately complex automobile accidents.

• Utilize analytical thinking to assess coverage, liability, and damages.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within established authority limits.

• Conduct investigations related to coverage and complex claims.

• Collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) to uncover facts and support claim decisions.

• Evaluate potential subrogation or fraud and determine appropriate handling measures.

• Manage investigations concerning auto claim coverage, liability, and damages.

• Recognize vehicle body parts and other possible property damage.

• Understand customer needs and address them with suitable customer service skills.

• Work effectively in a dynamic claims environment.

• No supervisory duties involved.

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster.

• Strong skills in coverage investigation.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced claims environment.

• Experience with policy interpretation and handling complex investigations.

• Capability to collaborate across functions, including working with SIU.

• Willingness to work Central hours.

• Basic understanding of the systems and technologies utilized within the organization.

• Fundamental knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational relationships.

• Basic investigative skills related to auto claim coverage, liability, and damages.

• Capacity to recognize and identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage.

• Strong customer service abilities.

• Applicants with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not maintain outside appointments during employment.

• Those holding a resident producer license must relinquish that license when directed by the licensing team.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions is required when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
