Mathematics Specialist, Fluent in Japanese – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Engage with language models regarding classroom challenges and theoretical mathematics inquiries

• Ensure factual correctness and logical validity

• Document reproducible error traces and outline model failure modes

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• Assist in creating high-quality training data for next-generation AI models

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Japanese

• Strong knowledge in algebra, calculus, number theory, linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, geometry, mathematical logic, and discrete mathematics

• Capability to work with real and complex analysis, optimization theory, mathematical proofs, set theory, probability distributions, cryptographic algorithms, and applied mathematics

• Excellent metacognitive communication skills and the ability to “show your work”

• A master’s or PhD in mathematics or a closely related quantitative discipline is preferred

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching, research in pure or applied mathematics, or practical experience in mathematical modeling is advantageous
