Math Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish daily connections with students through attentive and proactive outreach.

• Support learners as they navigate the assigned curriculum and reinforce essential concepts.

• Track engagement and academic progress; recognize struggling or disengaged students and implement timely, personalized interventions.

• Provide prompt grading and constructive feedback that enhances learning and fosters self-efficacy.

• Maintain consistent communication with students and families through phone, text, chat, Zoom, and email.

• Keep accurate records of student progress and interventions.

• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to enhance student success.

• Engage in professional development, meetings, and trainings.

• Teach according to the assigned curriculum, pacing, and available resources.

• Lead live sessions as needed.

• Assist in proctoring during testing periods, which may involve occasional travel.

• Carry out additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field (mandatory).

• Teacher certification and completion of an approved teacher preparation program (mandatory).

• Capability to secure certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and potentially other states as assigned (mandatory).

• Ability to successfully pass all required background checks (mandatory).

• Demonstrated content knowledge and a history of educational success with diverse student populations.

• Excellent interpersonal, rapport-building, communication, organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.

• Strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, discipline, accountability, and capacity for independent work.

• Proficient in Mac OS, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and task management tools like Asana.

• Willingness and ability to travel to designated testing sites for proctoring duties.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, professional, distraction-free remote workspace.

• Fixed availability from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time, year-round.

• Full-time commitment of at least 40 hours per week with uninterrupted focus during scheduled hours.

• No concurrent employment during scheduled hours; outside work must not interfere and requires prior written consent.
