Materials Science Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bangladesh, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop scientific coding tasks featuring one primary problem along with at least three logically interconnected sub-problems.

• Implement validated Python solutions ensuring comprehensive unit test coverage.

• Design distinctive test cases that effectively differentiate between correct and incorrect AI-generated responses.

• Conduct quality control assessments utilizing the Central Task Platform (CTP), including Tier 1 structural evaluations and Tier 2 quality rubrics.

• Modify tasks and solutions based on quality control feedback.

• Enhance tasks according to Pass@K evaluation standards across various LLM judges, including GPT, Gemini, and Nemotron.

• Confirm scientific accuracy, determinism, well-posedness, and anticipated outputs.

• Maintain a low rework ratio and ensure high-quality first submissions.

• Engage in project reviews, feedback discussions, and daily standups during necessary overlap hours.

• A solid background in materials science and scientific computing is essential for this position.

• Proficiency in Python for scientific computing tasks.

• Capability to devise scientific coding tasks that include one main problem and a minimum of three logically linked sub-problems.

• Skill in implementing validated Python solutions with thorough unit test coverage.

• Competence in crafting distinctive test cases for AI-generated outputs.

• Experience in executing quality control checks via the Central Task Platform (CTP), which encompasses Tier 1 structure evaluations and Tier 2 quality rubrics.

• Ability to optimize tasks based on Pass@K evaluation criteria across GPT, Gemini, and Nemotron judges.

• Proficiency in validating scientific correctness, determinism, well-posedness, and expected outputs.
