This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist and occasionally take the lead in Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up initiatives for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment portfolio.
• Act as a connector between the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance departments.
• Formulate, coordinate, and implement material strategies for SSI programs.
• Engage in program, IPTL, and supplier meetings as a key member of the Supply Chain Management team.
• Create and execute material program plans and subcontract management strategies.
• Manage the supplier management process, including supplier performance, supply chain metrics, Make/Buy strategies, and strategic agreements.
• Oversee supplier and finance management processes, encompassing Risk/Opportunity assessments, Line of Balance, metrics, and material sales forecasts.
• Serve as a liaison among the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPTs, and the Supply Chain organization.
• Supervise Supply Chain Management activities essential for fulfilling program requirements.
• Facilitate connections among Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control functions.
• Address urgent supply chain issues, including maintaining Purchase Requisitions integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statements of Work, and Purchase Order follow-ups.
• Represent the Supply Chain organization in matters of policies, strategies, and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through CORE, Six Sigma, or similar Lean methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or a master's degree in a related area with at least 3 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supply chain or related role such as Production Control, Operations, Finance, or Supplier Engineering.
• Proven experience in a cross-functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Must be eligible to acquire a security clearance.
• MPM level 4 certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) is preferred.
• Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Supply Chain, Production Control, or Procurement processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of Special Access Programs, MRP systems, and requirements management is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%; some travel may be required up to 25%.
