Material Process Manager – Field Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance material management processes at various project sites.

• Ensure effective receiving, staging, storage, movement, and preparation for installation.

• Collaborate with Construction, Operations, and Logistics teams to synchronize material flow with project timelines, workface planning, and field execution requirements.

• Promote consistency in field material handling, inventory control, documentation, receiving procedures, and compliance with logistics standards.

• Eliminate bottlenecks in material flow by working closely with field leadership, planning, warehouse, fleet, procurement, and supply chain teams.

• Track material preparedness and logistics performance using KPIs, dashboards, and operational reviews.

• Spot opportunities to enhance reliability, productivity, and project results.

• Lead initiatives for process improvement aimed at reducing waste, bolstering governance, and refining field material management across locations.

• Create training programs and mentor field teams regarding logistics standards.

• Facilitate the adoption of new processes, systems, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Construction Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• 4–5+ years of experience in construction logistics, field operations, supply chain management, material handling, warehouse operations, project controls, or similar fields.

• Proven track record in leading process enhancements and cross-functional operational initiatives that support site logistics and field material flow.

• Solid understanding of construction site operations, including receiving, staging, laydown planning, material movement, documentation, inventory transactions, and field storage needs.

• Experience in developing SOPs, standard operating procedures, KPI routines, training materials, process controls, dashboards, or operational reporting.

• Demonstrated capability to collaborate across construction, logistics, warehouse, procurement, and project teams to resolve field execution challenges.

• Must not require visa sponsorship; this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel domestically to project sites, warehouse facilities, vendor locations, and corporate offices as necessary.

• Capability to work in active construction, field logistics, warehouse, and industrial settings.

• Ability to perform field observations and operational reviews under various site and weather conditions.

• Must comply with applicable site access, PPE, and safety regulations.
