Master’s Scholarship Fellow, Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Investigate frameworks for an Intelligent Customer Timeline

• Assess Event Sourcing, Temporal Databases, Event Stores, and hybrid architectures

• Establish the event model, metadata, time windows, and representation layers

• Formulate strategies for dynamically constructing context without extensive data duplication

• Aid in the creation of prototypes aimed at identifying event- and journey-based opportunities

• Participate in an innovation initiative at the Itaú Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation in collaboration with Inova Talentos

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Distributed Systems, or a related discipline

• Familiarity with temporal data structures

• Understanding of Event Sourcing

• Proficiency in Temporal Databases

• Knowledge of Event Stores

• Experience with indexing

• Insight into streaming

• Background in distributed systems

• Expertise in data engineering

• Competence in data architecture

• Proficient in English

• Willingness to commit to 40 hours of work per week

• Preferred expertise: Complex Event Processing (CEP), event-driven architectures, Data Mesh, Data Products, large-scale streaming, temporal performance benchmarks, and experience within financial sectors
