Master Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Maintain records of assets, sites, and hierarchies in accordance with established data standards.

• Identify and rectify duplicates, incomplete required fields, orphaned records, and outdated data.

• Enhance nomenclature match rates against the serviceable asset baseline through systematic remapping.

• Conduct regular data quality checks and report any exceptions along with an owner and due date.

• Perform asset and entitlement data loads and verify them against the source and contract.

• Reconcile records where the same asset is represented differently across various source systems and apply established resolution rules.

• Prepare and validate data before declaring a site ready based on defined acceptance criteria.

• Document all transformations applied to a dataset to ensure reproducibility.

• Assist in data cleanup prior to platform changes and validate outcomes afterward.

• Collaborate with Sourcing and Payments to maintain entitlement and coverage records by service type.

• Highlight coverage records that deviate from contracts and track them for correction.

• Support needs assessment and coverage change initiatives using accurate asset data.

• Generate data extracts and reports to support KPI reporting, audits, and client inquiries.

• Uphold documented data standards, definitions, and mapping rules.

• Address user inquiries regarding data structure and record standards.

• Escalate platform limitations and integration requirements instead of creating workarounds outside the system.

• Adhere to GXP requirements, relevant quality systems, OSHA standards, and site safety procedures while working at client sites.

• Collaborate with Site Operations Managers, coordinators, Technical Supervisors, Sourcing and Payments, and Quality and Compliance.

• Report directly to the Manager of Master Data and Systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in master data management, CMMS administration, data analysis, or data quality.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, including handling large datasets, performing lookups, and pivot analysis.

• Experience with a CMMS or field service platform and familiarity with its data structures is essential.

• Proven track record in data migration projects or large-scale data cleanup efforts.

• Working knowledge of asset or equipment data, service records, and nomenclature standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft and Google software applications.

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Ability to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, travel, sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, and participate in customer site and laboratory visits as required.

• Capable of using standard office equipment and technology tools, including computers, phones, video conferencing, dashboards, and reporting systems.

• Willingness to travel approximately 5-15% for site data validation, deployment support, and training.

• If based at a client site, escort qualification is necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, data, or business field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Experience in a GXP or other regulated environment where data supports audits is preferred.

• Familiarity with a reporting or business intelligence tool is preferred.

• Training in data management, data analysis, or reporting tools is preferred.
