MassHealth Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Interact directly with MassHealth members via phone and video to assist with applications and renewals, collect necessary documents, respond to information requests, and address eligibility concerns.

• Manage patient cases from initiation to resolution.

• Facilitate renewal initiatives in collaboration with community health center partners.

• Clarify MassHealth and Health Connector notifications and advocate for patients with customer service.

• Keep health center teams updated and escalate complex cases as needed.

• Recognize trends in patient challenges and communicate findings to the product team.

• Evaluate patient outreach, scripts, and workflows to ensure they align with actual enrollment processes.

• Contribute to the development of BridgeHealthAI’s enrollment-support playbook as the organization expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience with MassHealth enrollment, eligibility, or benefits.

• Currently or previously a Massachusetts Certified Application Counselor, with eligibility for re-designation through a partner health center.

• Comprehensive understanding of MassHealth eligibility criteria, coverage types, renewal processes, information requests, Health Connector procedures, and unique scenarios.

• Capability to assist patients during complex or high-pressure situations.

• Proficient at identifying missing verifications or incomplete applications.

• Comfortable managing a caseload independently and ensuring cases are resolved to completion.

• Technologically adept and open to exploring new tools and AI-driven technologies.

• Ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment with changing processes.

• Must reside in Massachusetts.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship conditions are specified in the application form.
