Marketplace Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations on Amazon (Seller Central), Otto, and Decathlon, focusing on assortment, pricing, inventory management, Buy Box status, and account health.

• Strategically plan and optimize advertising initiatives (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display) with an emphasis on ACoS, TACoS, and profitability.

• Perform keyword research and competitor evaluations.

• Develop precise briefs for the Listing and Content teams to enhance product listings.

• Evaluate revenue, margins, and rankings, and generate actionable insights.

• Collaborate with the Logistics team for inventory planning and replenishment.

• Initiate new marketplace launches and country expansions, from integration to ongoing operations.

• Report directly to the Head of Marketplaces and work alongside the Content, Design, and Logistics teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in marketplace management, with proven expertise in Amazon Seller Central.

• Proficient in Amazon Advertising and knowledgeable about key performance metrics.

• Familiarity with Otto and Decathlon as marketplaces; practical experience is preferred.

• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Familiar with tools like Helium 10 and Sellerboard, or the capability to quickly learn new tools.

• Experience in an e-commerce startup or with a developing brand is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with clear communication skills, especially in a remote setting.

• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
