📋 Description

• Create new and refresh existing SEO-focused, audience-centric content.

• Conduct research, utilize data, and gather relevant insights.

• Deliver content that is clear, accurate, insightful, and adheres to regulatory standards.

• Learn and implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and performance.

• Uphold the Freedom Mortgage brand voice, tone, and style across various platforms.

• Source and verify content prior to publication.

• Adhere to deadlines by following production, workflow, and quality control protocols.

• Stay updated on industry-related news, AI tools, and content trends.

• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.

• Execute additional related tasks as assigned.

• Act as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Journalism, English, Economics, Communications, or a related discipline.

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Less than one (1) year of relevant work experience.

• Capability to research and compose long-form articles on designated mortgage or financial topics.

• Ability to propose ideas for new and engaging perspectives.

• Preferred prior work experience or university involvement in a writing role.

• Proficient in working independently and collaboratively within team and cross-functional environments, both in-person and remotely.

• Eagerness to learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.

• Willingness to engage with key internal stakeholders and attend regular meetings.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to accept and apply feedback.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain consistent and punctual attendance.

• Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
