Marketing Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the WordPress website, overseeing daily operations, technical troubleshooting, and monthly upkeep.

• Leverage website analytics to pinpoint opportunities and execute UI/UX enhancements for improved accessibility, performance, and user engagement.

• Collaborate with the creative team on design discussions, evaluating technical feasibility, best practices, and adherence to global standards.

• Convert Figma design systems and prototypes into responsive, production-ready implementations.

• Ensure responsive design is effectively applied across various devices and screen sizes.

• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and analytics tracking while working with cross-functional teams.

• Manage website projects from initiation through to launch, ensuring success metrics, stakeholder alignment, and quality assurance are met.

• Assist in website migrations or redesigns alongside the Marketing Director and stakeholders.

• Lead AEO/SEO/GEO strategy efforts and enhance search and AI citation visibility.

• Conduct research and audits to identify content gaps and implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headings, and structured data markup.

• Perform keyword research and analysis effectively.

• Collaborate with the content team to optimize website content in alignment with best practices.

• Develop automated web and search performance reports, track metrics, and present insights and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and maintaining production websites, with significant expertise in WordPress.

• Proficient in Elementor or a similar page builder, with strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in PHP and the development of custom WordPress themes or plugins.

• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows, preferably on WP Engine.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Proficient in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including event and data layer configuration, or similar analytics tools.

• Ability to create reports and dashboards, effectively communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Extensive knowledge of SEO and proven strategies, including AEO/GEO and AI search visibility.

• Practical understanding of WCAG 2.2 and sound judgment in managing sensitive data.

• Experience managing a production system with established patching and access protocols.

• Strong attention to design detail and consistency, with the ability to transform Figma files or systems into polished, on-brand web pages.

• Self-motivated with excellent prioritization skills across multiple projects.

• Clear and proactive communication skills, comfortable receiving remote direction from the Marketing Director.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
