This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the trade show and event calendar for all brands affiliated with SafeLease.
• Monitor deadlines for booth space, speaking proposals, sponsorships, and registration.
• Maintain event documentation and track projects using Notion.
• Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including booth space, shipping, freight, hotel accommodations, travel, staffing, setup, and teardown.
• Coordinate with vendors for booths, printing, promotions, and show services.
• Track deadlines for speaking and roundtable submissions, preparing them for review.
• Attend events in person, representing SafeLease.
• Execute lead capture processes and promptly route leads to the sales team.
• Monitor event leads, cost per lead, and budget expenditures.
• Provide post-event summaries and highlight any budget discrepancies.
• Source and order promotional items, manage inventory, and uphold brand standards.
• Create event collateral and booth graphics or prepare files for vendors.
• Manage day-to-day organic social media across all affiliated brands.
• Develop content calendars and write and schedule social media posts.
• Tailor voice and content for various brands and target audiences.
• Design and produce graphics, short-form videos, event photography, and customer or partner stories.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages, escalating as needed.
• Assist with paid social media efforts.
• Provide monthly reports on reach, engagement, follower growth, and traffic metrics.
• Observe competitor activities and industry discussions.
• Support employee advocacy and executive visibility on LinkedIn.
• Write and distribute event-related email marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales on pre-show target lists and post-show handoff.
• 2 to 4 years of marketing experience, specifically in supporting events or trade shows.
• Experience managing social media for at least one brand.
• Proven experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing work for social media, print, or events.
• Proficient in designing with Canva or similar tools.
• Excellent project management skills, able to handle long lead times and overlapping deadlines for multiple events.
• Comfortable working with budgets and performance metrics, providing clear reporting of results.
• Strong writing abilities across various formats, including social media content, email campaigns, and vendor and partner communications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%, primarily during the event season, including occasional weekends.
• Self-motivated, capable of independently managing programs in a small team environment.
• Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a general and criminal background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not require visa sponsorship to continue employment in the United States.
• Nice to have: Experience in insurance, insurtech, proptech, or self-storage sectors.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Notion, HubSpot, Canva, and social media scheduling platforms.
