Marketing Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Set up and manage Google Analytics along with various web analytics platforms.

• Develop and refine dashboards to assist stakeholders in tracking KPIs.

• Evaluate user behavior and the effectiveness of marketing channels to produce actionable insights.

• Diagnose issues related to tracking and data gathering.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and in-depth investigations to aid product and marketing strategies.

• Oversee A/B test planning, execution, and subsequent analysis.

• Track performance metrics and establish alerts for significant anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend objectives and convert them into measurement strategies.

• Guide junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical methodologies.

• Report directly to the Director of Analytics while working alongside a junior analyst.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or a related discipline, required.

• 3+ years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics, required.

• Expertise in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI, required.

• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems, required.

• Proficient in SQL and possess strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, required.

• Comfortable diagnosing tracking issues, debugging, and conducting quality assurance.

• Excellent communication abilities; capable of conveying findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools like Google Optimize or Optimizely is highly preferred.

• Acquainted with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or Google App Script is a plus.

• Candidate must reside within the Continental U.S.; preference for Eastern or Central time zones.
