This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and sustain a robust portfolio of Economy Segment business within a specified market area.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure long-term success and fulfill all components of business agreements.
• Generate and finalize sales leads while expanding new business within target accounts of the Economy segment.
• Establish a professional network and maintain a pipeline of business prospects.
• Implement account strategies that address customers’ product, color, and service requirements.
• Convey the values and advantages of Axalta products, colors, and services.
• Engage in sales strategies, events, and promotional activities.
• Conduct regular customer calls and log interactions in SFDC.
• Address issues and pinpoint areas for process enhancement.
• Contribute to the region's revenue, profitability, customer retention, and distributor management outcomes.
• Assist in the execution of SOPs and inform customers about Axalta training sessions and local performance groups.
• Spearhead conversion initiatives and collaborate with Technical Service Specialists.
• Ensure accurate account and contact details are maintained in Salesforce.
• Leverage technology to enhance productivity and communication.
• Exhibit safety awareness in all activities.
• Manage selling expenses within the allocated budget.
• Travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory, primarily in local areas.
• Proven sales professional with a background in Automotive Refinish and a strong record of effective customer support.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive Refinish industry.
• Familiarity with Axalta’s core product offerings and the fundamentals of collision repair shop operations.
• In-depth understanding of the collision repair shop business landscape and distribution principles.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage.
• Capability to recognize customer needs and collaboratively resolve issues.
• Self-motivated and capable of functioning effectively in unstructured and independent environments.
• Professional demeanor at all organizational levels.
• Strong team collaborator.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in computer usage; skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
• Willing and able to travel over 50% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship.
