Market Research Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Remain updated on the latest trends, methodologies, and technologies in the field of market research.

• Suggest improvements, spearhead pilot projects, and perform meta-research to enhance research investments and results.

• Act as a subject matter expert within the research team.

• Provide guidance to Marketing, business partners, and external research agencies regarding methodologies and strategies.

• Cultivate extensive business and category knowledge to inform research initiatives and fulfill partner requirements.

• Integrate qualitative, quantitative, secondary, and other data sources into actionable insights.

• Lead and conduct research both independently and in partnership with agencies.

• Convey insights and opportunities to senior leadership to shape business strategy.

• Assess trends and innovations in market research methodologies.

• Design and carry out qualitative and quantitative research on member and consumer needs, preferences, attitudes, and behaviors.

• Provide guidance on strategic research agency partnerships and ensure the delivery of insightful findings.

• Create and present story-driven presentations with business-oriented recommendations and opportunities.

• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Market Research, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, or a related field in business, communications, or social sciences is required.

• A Master's Degree in a related discipline is preferred.

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in market research, analytics, or a related field is required.

• Proven expertise in utilizing statistical tools and methods, including SPSS, R, Python, and correlation analysis is essential.

• Experience with online data collection tools such as Qualtrics is required.

• A demonstrated ability to mentor, advise, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various seniority levels is necessary.

• Candidates with experience in the payer and Medicaid industries are strongly preferred.
