Market Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver frontline operational assistance for the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange and Deribit.

• Provide support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications as part of a 24/7 team.

• Investigate and address customer inquiries regarding exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology.

• Assist in internal and external exchange operations investigations, including analysis and resolution of error trades.

• Collaborate with product and development teams on launches and updates to the platform.

• Conduct deployment testing in pre-production environments.

• Facilitate client and vendor onboarding and ongoing operational support across both exchanges.

• Identify, document, and propose enhancements to operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field.

• Over 1 year of experience in financial markets operations or a technical operations position.

• Knowledge of products and operations related to listed futures or options.

• Practical experience with error trade analysis and resolution.

• Capability to diagnose and clearly communicate complex technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience providing multi-channel support through voice, email, and chat.

• Ability to maintain high-quality performance in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.

• Familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, Salesforce, or JIRA is advantageous.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.
