Market & Credit Risk Analyst – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert for credit risk within complex or high-impact portfolios.

• Supervise the assessment of credit exposures, encompassing concentration risk and enterprise-wide implications.

• Develop and enhance credit risk frameworks, methodologies, and alignment with risk appetite.

• Establish and verify credit strategies, limits, and governance standards.

• Lead market risk analytics, including advanced scenario design, stress frameworks, and interpretation.

• Offer strategic insights into the interactions between market and credit risk and their effects on enterprise performance.

• Guide the creation of risk tools, models, and analytics to enhance measurement and forecasting.

• Build and improve data, reporting, and automation capabilities across risk functions.

• Challenge and advance current assumptions, methodologies, and risk quantification techniques.

• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and assist senior leadership in decision-making.

• Provide technical oversight and guidance to analysts at various levels.

• Carry out other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mastery of credit and market risk methodologies and frameworks.

• Proven capability to design and implement risk models and analytics.

• Strong leadership skills, stakeholder influence, and decision-support abilities.

• Ability to operate independently and shape risk strategy and governance.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in credit risk and/or market risk.

• A Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience is also acceptable.

• Equivalent experience may be taken into account in place of a degree.

• Experience with Endur software is preferred.

• Candidates with varying experience levels will be considered and may be matched to an appropriate level based on qualifications.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future without requiring visa sponsorship.
