Marine HVAC Field Service Engineer – m/w/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of air-conditioning and cooling systems aboard ships and offshore platforms.

• Execute technical analyses and carry out advanced testing procedures.

• Identify malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems and procure the necessary replacement parts.

• Clearly and effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations.

• Collaborate with the owner and/or shipbuilding team to commission new installations.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

• Cultivate product expertise while reporting any technical damages or system problems.

• Provide on-site services to both new and existing maritime and offshore clients.

• Conduct servicing, installations, maintenance, and equipment upgrades.

• Suggest enhancements that align with customer requirements.

• Regularly interact with clients and address any outstanding issues in a professional manner.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives alongside the field team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification is required.

• At least 5 years of relevant field service experience OR an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly marine air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

• Ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

• A willingness and ability to travel internationally at least 80% of the time and respond to service requests as needed.

• Proficient command of the English language.

• Familiarity with shipboard systems, maritime operations, and offshore installations is a plus.
