Manufacturing Operations Evaluation Consultant

📋 Description

• Evaluate completed AI-generated outputs related to manufacturing and operations instead of creating or reproducing the original deliverables.

• Analyze whether tasks represent authentic industrial practices and if the technical and operational content is accurate.

• Verify if current grading and quality ratings are warranted.

• Review task instructions, accompanying files, completed outputs, and assessment results.

• Ascertain whether the outputs align with real plant and operational processes.

• Identify significant technical, operational, quality, or procedural concerns.

• Assess the realism of tasks, constraints, figures, and anticipated deliverables.

• Examine production schedules, operational procedures, workflow decisions, and related documentation.

• Detect unrealistic assumptions regarding labor, equipment, capacity, throughput, or sequencing.

• Analyze technical assumptions, calculations, specifications, engineering documents, designs, process recommendations, and manufacturing decisions.

• Evaluate considerations regarding capacity, throughput, time studies, and workflows.

• Review root-cause investigations, corrective-action rationale, quality-control documentation, and inspection-related tasks.

• Assess PPAP, first-article inspections, method sheets, and process-deviation scenarios when applicable.

• Review aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, negotiation, purchase orders, lead times, pricing, and delivery.

• Examine work products related to receiving, inventory, cycle counts, warehousing, reconciliation, stock accuracy, and count variances.

• Analyze existing yes/no grading decisions against completed tasks.

• Evaluate compliance with requirements, fabricated figures, terminology, technical accuracy, and formatting.

• Independently assess the overall quality of work products and assign an appropriate quality band.

• Compare professional judgment with reported evaluation scores and clarify any discrepancies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in placing purchase orders and negotiating with suppliers in Purchasing & Procurement.

• Direct responsibility for supplier performance and commercial decisions.

• Practical knowledge of procurement documentation and supplier management.

• Experience in resolving real-world sourcing, delivery, or purchasing challenges.

• 5+ years of experience overseeing production or operational staff for Production Supervision.

• Hands-on accountability for production schedules and shift or line performance.

• Experience managing personnel and operational priorities on the plant floor.

• Strong understanding of actual production constraints and workflows.

• 4+ years of professional experience in designing parts or systems that transitioned into physical production for Mechanical Engineering.

• Strong practical knowledge of manufacturability and engineering documentation.

• Experience in reviewing technical specifications and design-related projects.

• PE qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.

• 3+ years of professional experience conducting capacity, throughput, layout, or time studies in Industrial Engineering.

• Experience in implementing enhancements that impacted real plant operations.

• Strong comprehension of production processes and workflow optimization.

• Ability to evaluate operational data and process assumptions.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse or plant inventory operations in Shipping, Receiving & Inventory.

• Responsible for receiving, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Experience in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.

• Strong practical understanding of warehouse documentation and controls.

• Significant hands-on manufacturing or operational delivery experience.

• Experience with root-cause investigations, PPAP, first-article inspections, cycle-count reconciliation, or production-method review is particularly valuable.

• Near-native proficiency in business English.

• Ability to provide clear written explanations for professional judgments.

• Comfortable reviewing spreadsheets, PDFs, and related professional documents.

• Capable of verifying figures, calculations, and internal consistency.

• Substantial operational exposure beyond planning software.

• Implementation experience that goes beyond simulation-only engineering work.

• Work must be conducted without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party.
