Manufacturing Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the Senior Manufacturing and Manufacturing Transformation Directors with strategic planning and execution.

• Oversee strategic initiatives and special projects across manufacturing locations.

• Aid in the deployment of the manufacturing strategy and the facility's 5-year Strategic Business Plan (SBP).

• Provide leadership and direction to manufacturing teams.

• Manage business processes for the North American Manufacturing Management System, which includes accountability processes, strategy deployment, and leader standard work.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration.

• Act as a representative for the Senior Manufacturing Director in meetings and communications.

• Prepare various documents, including reports and presentations.

• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing operations to suggest improvements.

• Lead initiatives aimed at transforming manufacturing costs.

• Create and sustain a 3-year pipeline of cost-saving initiatives.

• Conduct workshops to generate ideas for current-year gaps and future initiatives.

• Develop and maintain the Cost Transformation Management system.

• Create analytical tools and performance reports to enhance data visibility and facilitate decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required.

• MBA or Master of Science (MS) is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably with exposure to various functions and/or areas of the supply chain.

• Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated history of achieving results and promoting an inclusive work environment.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to influence mill managers and senior leaders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in project management tools and software.

• Capacity to support a 24/7 operation with varying scheduled hours.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% across North America.

• Capability to work in a manufacturing environment.
