Manufacturing Accountant

📋 Description

• Oversee monthly closing processes related to manufacturing operations.

• Evaluate manufacturing expenses, inventory levels, and production discrepancies.

• Maintain standard costing and assist with annual cost revisions.

• Create financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and performance evaluations.

• Reconcile inventory and assist with physical inventory assessments.

• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to discover cost-reduction opportunities.

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and audit standards.

• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and enhancements to ERP systems.

• Support financial activities across various manufacturing facilities in the United States.

• Propel financial performance, operational excellence, and informed business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing setting.

• Strong grasp of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.

• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

• Proficient in advanced Excel techniques.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Solid business and financial understanding.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

• Capability to work effectively across various functional teams.

• Results-driven approach with an emphasis on precision and continuous improvement.

• CPA certification or in progress is preferred.
