Manufactured Housing Support Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership, strategic direction, and technical guidance to the operations team and internal network.

• Act as a subject-matter expert on manufactured-home closings and real property conversions nationwide.

• Deliver timely and accurate support through phone, email, and instant messaging.

• Address pre- and post-closing inquiries, concerns, and escalated issues related to manufactured homes.

• Investigate complex issues utilizing internal systems and regulatory resources.

• Supervise the manufactured-home real property conversion pipeline and enhance workflows.

• Assist stakeholders throughout the entire conversion process while adhering to timelines and procedures.

• Monitor compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations, advising leadership on necessary process modifications.

• Train, mentor, and develop analysts responsible for overseeing the pipeline.

• Handle hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, promotions, and disciplinary measures.

• Collaborate with leadership on job descriptions, training programs, and operational strategies.

• Analyze data from Encompass and other reporting platforms to identify operational trends.

• Convey actionable insights to leadership, team members, and both internal and external partners.

• Lead and assist with special departmental projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

• A minimum of 4 years of specialized experience in manufactured housing processing or title work.

• Thorough understanding of manufactured-home de-titling and real property conversion processes in all 50 states.

• Extensive knowledge of the real estate title process.

• Familiarity with the mortgage lifecycle from application to funding.

• Awareness of necessary loan file documentation.

• Understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations.

• Proficient in using the Encompass loan origination system.
