Managing Engineer, C#/ASP.NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of software engineers.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and related technologies.

• Contribute production-ready code and engage in feature development and system enhancements.

• Review code and offer technical guidance to engineering team members.

• Participate in iteration planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Facilitate technical design discussions and architectural decision-making.

• Ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

• Establish and uphold continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.

• Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and lead root cause analysis efforts.

• Work alongside Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams to align solutions with enterprise standards.

• Advocate for engineering best practices, including test automation, code quality, and continuous improvement.

• Monitor delivery commitments, operational metrics, and team performance.

• Encourage knowledge sharing, talent development, and technical growth within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing enterprise applications using ASP.NET and C# (or equivalent).

• At least 1 year of experience in leading or managing software engineers (or equivalent).

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and supporting production software applications.

• Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and complex T-SQL development.

• Proficient in front-end technologies such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.

• Strong grasp of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.

• Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
