Managing Director, Complex Accounting – Litigation – Insurance Solvency Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members in client engagements and business development initiatives.

• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance environment that emphasizes quality, innovation, and client service.

• Manage and execute projects across a variety of disciplines, including complex investigations related to regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.

• Guide the creation of client deliverables such as reports, presentations, data visualizations, and expert testimony.

• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring outstanding service delivery and strategic insights.

• Grow your book of business and contribute to the expansion of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice.

• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders.

• Establish and maintain relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients.

• Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in auditing, CFO roles, regulatory or standard-setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.

• Certified Public Accountant or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated experience focused on delivering high-quality services to clients and the ability to work effectively within and manage a team.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
