This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct both quantitative and qualitative data gathering, along with industry and subject-matter research, to address client challenges.
• Create and implement data-driven analytics solutions that support Revenue Cycle initiatives, focusing on denials avoidance, revenue integrity, and process enhancement.
• Develop and sustain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that convert complex analytics into actionable insights and recommendations for clients.
• Offer expertise in insurance denial protocols and propose data-informed solutions for clients.
• Utilize appropriate tools and methodologies; engage with research journals and online resources as necessary.
• Lead engagement work stream initiatives while supervising qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Manage representative-level client relationships and customize communication for various stakeholders.
• Review practices and conduct data analysis, interviews, and shadowing to ensure quality and identify opportunities or risks.
• Identify subsequent steps and alternatives to enhance independent work capabilities.
• Mentor and assist junior team members in analytic techniques and knowledge of revenue cycle domains.
• Foster a positive team environment while meeting client deadlines and quality standards.
• Enhance existing client relationships and take part in business development efforts.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle is required.
• Ideally already at the Manager level in consulting or within the healthcare sector.
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent in analytics, computer science, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, public health, engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in leading Denials Avoidance/Prevention and Avoidable Write-Offs initiatives that yield measurable financial outcomes.
• Background in process redesign and improvement.
• Experience across the entire Revenue Cycle, including Patient Access, HIM/Coding, and Patient Financial Services.
• Familiarity with Cerner or Epic; Cerner Patient Accounting experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL/Snowflake and Tableau/Power BI is essential.
• Knowledge and experience with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, MS Access, Alteryx, or Databricks are advantageous.
• Openness to expanding analytical capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly present findings to client executives and internal leadership.
• Willingness to travel infrequently, up to 20%, based on project needs and client expectations.
• Must provide verification of legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
