This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the development lifecycle and the technical roadmap for the Next.js / Payload CMS marketing website.
• Design, develop, review, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and CMS features.
• Establish development standards, CI/CD processes, manage environments, documentation, and release protocols.
• Convert marketing and business requirements into sustainable technical solutions and development priorities.
• Ensure website performance, reliability, accessibility, technical SEO/AIO, security, and overall platform health.
• Create and maintain integrations among the website, APIs, CMS, search, CRM/MAP, analytics, consent, automation, and other marketing platforms.
• Oversee the technical implementation and governance of GTM, GA4, consent management, and marketing measurement.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, and IT on privacy, security, vulnerability management, and data governance practices.
• Resolve complex application, deployment, data, tracking, and integration issues.
• Assess new platforms and AI-enabled technologies for scalability, security, maintainability, and business value.
• Manage technical vendors and external development partners.
• Ensure technical project planning and operational visibility through tools such as Monday.com.
• Assist in building and eventually leading a dedicated Web & Marketing Platforms function.
• 4+ years of professional web development experience.
• Extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Professional experience with Next.js is highly preferred, including knowledge of modern application architecture and server/client rendering patterns.
• Experience with a modern headless CMS; familiarity with Payload CMS is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks, and contemporary web architecture.
• Proficient with Git-based development workflows, code review, CI/CD, deployment environments, and production release management.
• Willingness or familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Copilot.
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, Google Consent Mode, and digital analytics implementation.
• Familiarity with cookie consent/CMP platforms such as Securiti, OneTrust, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms into modern web applications.
• Familiarity with search platforms such as Algolia or comparable search/indexing technologies.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, website performance, and web security best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting production applications, integrations, deployments, tracking implementations, and data flows.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, databases, automation platforms, and data pipelines is a plus.
• Experience providing technical guidance to developers, contractors, agencies, or vendors is preferred.
• Ability to translate business and marketing needs into technical requirements.
• Proficient in communicating technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
