This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Lead a team of 10–15 nationally licensed advisors who assist clients across all 50 states via phone, screen sharing, and video conferencing.
• Oversee performance and sales outcomes for the business, team, and individual advisors.
• Generate team revenue exceeding $1.5 million annually.
• Retain and engage a collective client base of 800,000.
• Provide regular daily and weekly coaching for both the team and individual members.
• Foster consultative sales skills and offer advice-based recommendations.
• Conduct interviews and make talent selections in line with attrition and future growth needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training to enhance productivity and skill development.
• Collaborate with internal centers of excellence to deliver training and resources.
• Create a culture that reflects the organization’s mission, vision, values, and ethos.
• Exhibit expertise through case work and occasionally participate in client calls to support the team.
• Work alongside the sales director in quarterly business planning and setting performance expectations.
• Contribute to information sharing, decision-making, and operations aligned with budgetary considerations.
• Address standards of work, process enhancements, employee performance, client service, channel conflicts, operational ease, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify process improvements and recommend training, technology, or other changes to enhance client satisfaction.
• Relay decisions, requests, and information to financial representatives and field leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience as a financial advisor is essential.
• Possession of FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66, and Life/Health Insurance licenses is highly preferred and must be secured within 120 days of hire/transfer.
• Must be eligible for Securities and Insurance licensing in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
• Previous experience in financial planning, investment products, and insurance products is required.
• Background in consultative, needs-based sales models (e.g., Integrity Selling or similar) is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading change within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Prior experience collaborating in a team-oriented setting to achieve results.
• 5+ years of experience managing a team of 8 or more direct reports is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
• Experience with Money Guide Pro or other planning tools is an advantage.
• Experience in virtual sales environments is preferred.
• Advanced Designation (CFP®, ChFC, or CLU) is desired.
• Strong communication, organizational, and client-focused skills are necessary.
• Must be eligible to work in all 50 states and the District of Columbia as a securities and insurance licensee.
