📋 Description

• Deliver operational technical services to designated customer accounts

• Advocate for Metsä Board 360 services

• Oversee trials, product testing, and qualification processes to optimize successful results

• Collaborate with customers, team members, and co-suppliers on environmental and sustainability inquiries, product compatibility, manufacturing challenges, and specialized training

• Ensure effective communication between the market/customers and Metsä Board, keeping clients updated on product and service advantages

• Work in partnership within account management teams alongside sales and production colleagues

• Establish and nurture relationships between the market, sales, and production divisions

• Quickly relay important information to colleagues

• Report to the Director of Technical Services Europe

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of the transformation of paperboard into finished cartons

• Experience or expertise in one or more areas: board manufacturing; lithographic offset, flexographic, or digital printing; die cutting, creasing, folding, or gluing; corrugated production; adhesive/glue or ink technologies and production

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Methodical approach to problem-solving

• Innate curiosity to explore technical specifics

• Capacity to reach effective conclusions

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Degree or comparable vocational qualification in paperboard, print, or related industries, or equivalent experience in another manufacturing sector

• Background in technical sales or services within an international business environment

• Proactive and results-driven mindset

• Ability to translate plans into actionable steps

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Additional language skills and cultural awareness are beneficial

• Knowledge of SAP and AI applications is a plus
