This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Sales professionals focused on a territory-driven business model.

• Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities to enhance both individual and team performance.

• Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative environment centered on accountability and continuous improvement.

• Recruit, onboard, and retain skilled technical sales personnel.

• Collaborate with Sales leadership to implement the regional technical sales strategy across high-volume opportunities.

• Ensure support for pipeline development, deal progression, and successful technical closures.

• Participate in forecast discussions, account evaluations, and business planning sessions.

• Direct prioritization efforts to balance deal velocity with technical depth.

• Establish best practices for customer discovery, demonstrations, and technical validation.

• Ensure consistent engagement with customers across diverse industries and use cases.

• Coach the team to effectively translate customer requirements into scalable, outcome-focused solutions.

• Promote the adoption of standard demonstrations, resources, and playbooks.

• Develop and refine a scalable technical sales operating model.

• Implement tools, processes, and metrics designed to enhance productivity and consistency.

• Facilitate the management of multiple concurrent opportunities.

• Maintain a balance between standardization and flexibility to accommodate various customer scenarios.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Resellers, and other internal teams.

• Provide field insights regarding product gaps, competitive intelligence, and customer requirements.

• Drive cross-functional alignment to support business initiatives and ensure customer success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting.

• Proven track record of success in high-volume, mid-market, or SMB sales settings.

• Strong grasp of sales processes, pipeline management, and deal progression strategies.

• Exceptional coaching, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

• Demonstrated capability to influence cross-functional stakeholders effectively.

• Willingness to travel 50% or more, including flights and potential international travel.

• At least 3 years of experience in people management or team leadership.

• Strong technical proficiency coupled with a business/sales-oriented mindset.

• Experience working across various industries and customer segments.

• Data-driven and operationally adept, with an emphasis on efficiency and impact.

• Familiarity with SaaS, cloud, or platform-based solutions.

• Residing in the Denver, CO area is an advantage.
