This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the data-centric Technical Product Owner for inventory-related data assets at Comcast Advertising.
• Establish product strategy and prioritize the backlog effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to implement scalable data solutions.
• Provide expertise in advertising inventory and yield data.
• Ensure that data models, governance, and analytics facilitate forecasting, optimization, operational reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead discussions with business leaders to understand data analysis requirements and define technical specifications.
• Offer insights on data relevance and sourcing alternatives.
• Oversee the analysis of complex data sets using self-service analytics tools.
• Manage the querying of diverse big data platforms.
• Spearhead the integration of data from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover business drivers and confirm hypotheses.
• Supervise the development of predictive models for sales and demand forecasting.
• Evaluate the outcomes of campaigns and initiatives.
• Communicate analytical insights to executives through narrative-driven reports and data visualizations.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and collaborative team dynamics.
• Be flexible with work schedules, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Execute other assigned duties and responsibilities.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• A combination of coursework and experience may be considered.
• Extensive professional experience in related fields may be taken into account.
• Proficiency in advertising inventory and yield data.
• Familiarity with data models, data governance, forecasting, optimization, and operational reporting.
• Experience with querying Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
• Background in integrating data from multiple sources.
• Experience in exploratory data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required by variable schedules.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters consistently.
