Manager, Strategy & Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operational cadence of the management team, executive team, and operational reviews.

• Create agendas, pre-reading materials, decision logs, and ensure follow-up on decisions made.

• Develop presentation decks and investor packages for board and investor meetings, utilizing finance-provided figures.

• Collaborate with the Director of People to organize company on-site events and team gatherings.

• Manage company metrics and track OKRs effectively.

• Oversee the inventory of tools, licensing, risk register, and compliance calendar.

• Evaluate NDAs and standard agreements against established guidelines.

• Direct non-standard agreements to external legal counsel with a comprehensive brief.

• Keep a repository of contracts and an obligations tracker for renewals, notice periods, and government compliance reporting.

• Handle vendor onboarding and maintain corporate records, ensuring entity and cap table accuracy in Carta.

• Lead targeted strategic projects by assessing issues, outlining options and trade-offs, and making recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience in business operations, strategy and operations, strategic finance, or consulting.

• Proficiency in working with financial and operational metrics.

• Capability to review NDAs or standard agreements, identify risks, and understand escalation processes.

• Legal training is not a prerequisite.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Competence in briefing external counsel, preparing executive pre-read materials, and articulating trade-offs to non-specialists.

• Exceptional attention to detail in managing trackers, calendars, repositories, and records.
