Manager, Strategic Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Assist, oversee, and lead strategic projects and initiatives within the department.

• Aid leadership in implementing the strategic vision.

• Cultivate relationships with key functional areas and provide guidance and supervision to staff.

• Support Plan Administration in executing the defined strategic plan and essential processes.

• Design and execute Operations/Administration projects.

• Plan, conduct, and manage intricate Operations projects and programs utilizing innovative approaches.

• Create and implement process-improvement action plans in collaboration with Operations leadership.

• Ensure project oversight and administration to guarantee solutions align with or exceed business requirements.

• Engage department associates, manage performance, and offer recommendations, feedback, and coaching.

• Coach and oversee the team and direct reports.

• Manage processes and projects from initiation through their entire lifecycle.

• Lead and enhance workflow for business processes.

• Address internal business owner requests.

• Foster cross-functional relationships to advance business strategies and resolve challenges.

• Lead project workgroups and handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Support strategic program initiatives and ensure financial commitments are fulfilled.

• Oversee and monitor vendor, delegated, and contracted relationships and performance, including SLA supervision.

• Prepare executive summaries for Senior Management regarding performance and trends.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in leading projects and initiatives.

• 2+ years of experience in people management.

• Preferred: additional experience in managed care.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% for onsite meetings.

• Adherence to all policies and standards.
