Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of developers to deliver high-quality Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions.

• Facilitate team ceremonies, status meetings, planning sessions, workload prioritization, and project delivery.

• Offer technical expertise throughout the SDLC design and development phases, focusing on integration architecture, data management, scalability, and platform modernization.

• Assess and prioritize platform, data integration, and data quality challenges.

• Provide updates on project status, perform trend analysis, and prepare reports for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project milestones and confirm project scope.

• Manage programs for significant initiatives.

• Coordinate efforts between internal resources and third-party vendors.

• Lead discussions on development and finalize deliverables.

• Review and refine requirements, specifications, business processes, and solution recommendations.

• Evaluate the impact of issues and solutions across the organization.

• Ensure tracking, reporting, and resolution of application, integration, data quality, and platform issues.

• Communicate strategy, project, and solution modifications to the development team.

• Uphold project deadlines and schedules.

• Coordinate software launches with Support, Sales, and Business Intelligence teams, including release scheduling, announcements, documentation, and training.

• Maintain software engineering quality and compliance standards, providing audit-control evidence.

• Collect feedback from customers and stakeholders while monitoring emerging CRM, integration, enterprise data management, analytics, and cloud technologies to inform roadmap decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Administration, IT, Business Information Systems, or a related field is strongly preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in a Senior Engineering, Senior Product Management, or equivalent role.

• At least 3 years of management or leadership experience in a software, IT, or comparable technical environment.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver time-sensitive projects by collaborating closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in leading or supporting enterprise-scale CRM, integration, and ETL solutions, with direct experience in Salesforce and MuleSoft preferred.

• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, analytics platforms, data integration solutions, or data warehousing concepts is a plus.

• Knowledge of data management best practices, including data quality, governance, and reporting concepts.

• PMP/Scrum certification is an advantage.
