Manager / Senior Manager, Principal Data Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Decompose intricate and ambiguous business challenges into well-structured analytical methodologies and suggest innovative, technically robust solutions.

• Facilitate solution identification with stakeholders by clarifying needs, evaluating analytical viability, and shaping technical roadmaps.

• Independently define, lead, and execute analytical workstreams with minimal supervision.

• Ensure the delivery of timely and high-quality analytical results.

• Provide insights aimed at revenue enhancement, customer behaviors, and operational efficiencies.

• Convert complex data insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as business leaders.

• Develop, optimize, and implement predictive and machine learning models.

• Oversee analytics workstreams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Utilize financial and analytical judgment to pinpoint opportunities and take decisive action with limited information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (a master’s degree is preferred).

• Over 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in data science or advanced analytics roles.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Familiarity with GCP and BigQuery (experience with Vertex AI is a plus).

• Expertise in visualization tools such as Google Looker, Qlik, PowerBI, and Plotly Dash.

• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities using Python, along with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and other related statistical/modeling frameworks.

• Ability to question established assumptions, navigate uncertainty, and adapt swiftly in rapidly evolving environments.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to influence decision-making.

• Outstanding storytelling and presentation abilities.

• Skill in creating compelling, executive-ready materials and conveying complex analytical insights to varied audiences.
