This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of direct reports with support from the director and other departmental leaders.
• Mentor and develop analysts, guiding their tasks to ensure precision and quality.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders in customer success and operations.
• Track risk adjustment and healthcare industry trends to train and educate analysts effectively.
• Develop internal-facing materials for teams and executives as well as external-facing content for clients.
• Create analytics processes and solutions that enhance efficiency while upholding integrity and quality.
• Assess and recommend effective applications of technology and data resources.
• Collaborate with managers and the department director to define strategy and mobilize the team.
• Generate client-facing analytics to support internal risk adjustment coding operations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading and managing in a remote setting.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Medicare, ACA, and/or Medicaid risk adjustment models.
• More than 5 years of experience in data analytics and technical roles.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and a passion for addressing complex business challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in managing various communication platforms, including Slack, email, and teleconferencing.
• High attention to detail and commitment to reviewing work products meticulously.
• Proficient in SQL, ideally in cloud environments such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Familiarity with visualization/BI tools like Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for ad-hoc analytics and data summarization.
• A degree or equivalent work experience in a technical discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, or Business with a technical focus.
• Sigma is preferred; Looker/Tableau experience is an alternative.
• Preferred experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data analytics purposes.
• Familiarity with Jira.
• Experience with Microsoft and Google office suites.
• Background in healthcare actuarial or medical economics departments with a focus on risk adjustment valuation and modeling.
• Proven experience in creating and presenting executive-level content.
• Experience managing external customers, their expectations, and deadlines.
