Manager, Record to Report

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the month-end closing procedures, ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards.

• Supervise month-end closing activities to guarantee correctness and compliance with financial reporting norms.

• Reconcile intricate accounts that involve data from various systems to uphold data integrity.

• Prepare and evaluate cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss financial statements.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to convey financial outcomes and meet reporting obligations.

• Recognize and implement process enhancements to boost operational efficiency and control frameworks.

• Mitigate risks by applying internal controls and overseeing compliance with regulatory standards.

• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage lease data abstraction, system reviews, rollforwards, and footnote disclosures within the Lease Accounting Center.

⛳️ Requirements

• Option 1: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or a related field along with 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or a related area.

• Option 2: A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of financial statement analysis, encompassing balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow relationships.

• Proven track record in managing month-end closing processes and reconciling complex accounts.

• Strong comprehension of GAAP, advanced accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.

• Proficient in stakeholder management, encompassing communication and engagement with cross-functional partners.

• Capability to pinpoint process inefficiencies and apply continuous improvement methodologies.

• Expertise in risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks.

• Proficient in data management, metadata analysis, and ensuring data integrity across various systems.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising teams and driving operational excellence.
