Manager, RCM, PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily execution of assigned revenue cycle management projects.

• Develop comprehensive project work plans that include tasks, responsible parties, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, testing phases, launches, stabilization efforts, and project closeouts.

• Follow up on commitments and keep action, risk, issue, and decision logs updated.

• Recognize delays, ambiguity in ownership, resource conflicts, dependencies, and unresolved decisions.

• Record current and future workflows, points of failure, controls, queues, exceptions, and handoffs.

• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Coding, Market Access, Finance, IT, Product, Compliance, Analytics, and vendors.

• Develop test scenarios, monitor requirements and defects, assign responsibilities, and verify retesting.

• Maintain launch readiness checklists that encompass procedures, training, access, configuration, staffing, communications, reports, escalation contacts, and contingency plans.

• Conduct go-live check-ins, monitor production issues, and provide support for stabilization until handoff.

• Evaluate post-launch results against approved targets and finalize project closeout documentation.

• Report directly to the Director, RCM PMO & Transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, information systems, a clinical discipline, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in healthcare project management, implementation, consulting, or operational improvement.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects through phases of planning, testing, launching, stabilizing, and closing out.

• Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle management, including patient access, authorizations, billing, claims, reimbursements, denials, and payer requirements.

• Excellent organization, facilitation, documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to address unclear ownership or unrealistic deadlines in a professional and direct manner.

• Experience in diagnostic, molecular, genetic, pathology, or specialty laboratory revenue cycle management is preferred.

• Preferred credentials include PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, Agile, Scrum, or similar qualifications.

• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft project tools, Quadax, Salesforce, clearinghouses, payer portals, laboratory systems, integrations, UAT, data migration, or automation is preferred.

• Ability to safeguard patient, client, employee, financial, and business information while adhering to company policies, HIPAA, and relevant payer, laboratory, quality, and regulatory requirements.
