This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding offshore and domestic alternative fund accounting and administration
• Oversee the delegation of funds to the team
• Facilitate the coordination and onboarding of new fund setups
• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams
• Deliver precise accounting packages
• Coordinate and assist in year-end audit engagements in compliance with GAAP accounting standards
• Conduct due diligence to ensure client adherence to laws and regulations
• Scrutinize fund transactions in line with Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures
• Guarantee team compliance with departmental policies and regulations
• Create and reconcile accounting reports, including month-end valuation reports
• Review and authorize month-end valuations prior to client distribution
• Approve wire payments from fund escrow accounts
• Address inquiries from investment managers regarding transactions, administration, reporting, and financial statements
• Collaborate with investment managers, transfer agents, sales and service teams, technology support, and vendors to resolve issues
• Conduct performance reviews and monthly one-on-one meetings
• Provide career development guidance and training
• Evaluate resource needs, interview candidates, and hire new employees
• Advocate for team growth, promotions, and disciplinary measures
• Assist business development and relationship teams with prospect calls, client visits, and presentations
• Oversee the onboarding process for new and converted clients
• Collect client requirements and submit tailored requests
• Communicate essential deliverables to team members
• Engage in professional development activities and identify process enhancements
• BA / BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the fund services industry
• Experience in alternatives is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service abilities
• Capacity to grasp new financial services concepts and systems
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Adaptability to meet changing client needs
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
