Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Oversee a diverse client portfolio that includes sole proprietors, agricultural businesses subject to personal or corporate income tax, artisans, and commercial enterprises.

• Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, and tax documentation.

• Generate financial statements and present annual accounts to clients alongside the chartered accountant.

• Undertake ad hoc projects, including dashboards, financial forecasts, performance metrics, and more.

• Prepare income tax filings.

• Utilize digital tools to enhance clients’ accounting oversight and administrative organization.

• Actively engage in providing advisory support to business owners.

• Operate under the guidance of the office manager while collaborating with the chartered accountant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (3 years of higher education) or Master’s degree (5 years of higher education).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Experience within a public accounting firm is preferred.

• Familiarity with agricultural accounting is a plus.

• Must be curious, organized, and methodical.

• Strong enthusiasm for digital tools.

• Capability to work effectively within a team environment.
