This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 and relevant GAAP standards.
• Develop and uphold annual Standalone Selling Price (SSP) pricing frameworks.
• Record and assess quarterly revenue adjustments, including calculations for open items.
• Compose technical accounting white papers and formulate new revenue policies as required.
• Analyze credit implications and evaluate the necessity for credit reserves.
• Carry out comprehensive RFP and contract evaluations to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant revenue treatment.
• Execute monthly reconciliation and reporting of consolidated revenue from Oracle to the General Ledger.
• Guarantee the completeness and precision of revenue reporting through analytical reviews and variance assessments.
• Assist in the quarterly and annual revenue closing processes.
• Review contract terms to ascertain the proper revenue recognition treatment.
• Aid in annual external audits and supply necessary documentation and supporting analyses.
• Establish and refine internal audit processes related to revenue compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the end-to-end revenue process, including controls and workflows.
• Incorporate newly acquired entities into established revenue processes.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new SKUs/products and verify that production environments match tested configurations.
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency enhancements, and improved compliance within revenue operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is necessary.
• Must have technical accounting expertise.
• Ability to provide senior management with risk assessments for potential or undertaken actions.
• Advanced computer proficiency and expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience in leading ASC 606 implementation initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with robust analytical skills.
• Capability to solve complex problems with independent judgment.
