Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage a client portfolio independently, encompassing sole proprietors, agricultural businesses subject to personal or corporate income tax, craft enterprises, and commercial organizations.

• Prepare VAT returns, annual financial statements, and tax documentation.

• Develop balance sheets and present annual financial statements to clients in collaboration with the chartered accountant.

• Execute ad hoc projects, such as dashboards, forecasts, key performance indicators, and more.

• Prepare income tax filings.

• Utilize new digital tools to enhance clients’ accounting oversight and administrative organization.

• Actively engage in delivering advisory services to business owners.

• Operate under the guidance of the agency manager and in partnership with the chartered accountant.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (3 years of higher education) or a Master’s degree (5 years of higher education) in accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Prior experience in a chartered accountancy firm is preferred.

• Familiarity with agricultural accounting and agricultural profits is an advantage.

• Possess curiosity, organization, and a methodical approach.

• Strong enthusiasm for digital technologies.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Proficiency in or experience utilizing digital and accounting tools, particularly Pennylane, ISACOMPTA, RCA Bilan Imagé, Prévi Flash, AGORA Expert, COT TNS, the internal document management system, and the digital platform.
